    The immediate past Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency Mr. Udom Emmanuel,CON, Wednesday afternoon,arrived Akwa Ibom State to participate in the funeral rites leading to the burial of his beloved cousin, Elder Ukpong Ukpong, who will be interred this Saturday at his hometown Awa Iman, ONNA LGA.

    Mr. Emmanuel who visited the deceased family, acknowledged and appreciated the various groups that were on ground to condole with the family and craved their continued support for a successful burial ceremony.

    He charged them to continue to live in peace and harmony with one another, and continue supporting the family to a peaceful funeral ceremony.

    “We are not here for politics, you all know that Elder Ukpong was quite a young man and we must do our best to pay our last respect to him.”
