Publisher of Newsday NewsPaper Chief Edet Okon Isong(Okete Okete Oro) popularly known as Windy Isong says he is impressed on the interpretation of the sectoral templates of the ARISE Agenda of Governor Umo Eno in Akwa Ibom State.

He noted that he was satisfied with the progress of work on the Nsit Atai/Okobo road construction by the Governor which was abandoned by the previous administration. He prayed for the Governor and the contractor to complete the project before the end of the year.

Isong who once served as the Chairman of Urueoffong Oruko Local Government Area said, he was impressed with Governor Eno’s impact in the State emphasized  that the Governor has really shown that Akwa Ibom State funds can be prudently utilized for the development of  Akwa Ibom State and her people.

He also spoke on the relationship between the Governor and the State describing it as Fatherly. He listed the payment of gratuity to retired teachers, the establishment of the Bulk Purchase Agency, building of Health centers and model Schools across the State. These and many more are acts of class, acts of service and justifiable reasons why Governor Umo Bassey Eno deserves the support of Akwa Ibom people across political divides, Chief Isong enthused.

” I must commend Gov. Umo Eno for the people orientated policies targeting at changing the lives of the people including the ongoing work on the Nsit Atai/Okobo road, payment of gratuities, construction of model schools and compassionate homes across the State. These are visionary milestone projects and are commendable, Chief Isong said.
