In a condolence message issued today, Chief Isong commiserated with the management and staff of ARISE News, noting that Maduagwu’s vibrant personality and professional commitment set her apart as one of the promising figures in broadcasting.
“Somtochukwu Maduagwu was a vibrant and dedicated professional whose contributions to journalism and broadcasting will be greatly missed. Her passing is not only a loss to ARISE News but also to the entire Nigerian media industry,” he stated.
