Senate President Godswill Akpabio has dismissed fresh allegations made against him by suspended Kogi Central lawmaker, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who claimed he instructed former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, to kill her.

Speaking through his media aide, Eseme Eyiboh, on Wednesday, Akpabio said he would not engage in any exchange with the embattled senator.

“Anything concerning Natasha within the purview of the law is sub judice because there is no way you will comment on it without linking it to the President of the Senate, who is also a party to the suit,” Eyiboh stated.

When asked about Natasha’s continued public criticism of Akpabio despite the matter being before the court, Eyiboh paused briefly before responding.

“That shows the level of respect she has for the rule of law herself. We cannot say anything more than that,” he said.
