The Executive Chairman, Urue Offong/Oruko Local Government Area, Rt. Hon. (Chief) Uno Etim Uno, on Monday officially flagged-off the All Progressives Congress (APC) Membership Revalidation and Registration Exercise in the area.
Speaking at the event which took place at the Ward 9 centre of the Party, Chief Uno called on all existing and intending members of the Party to visit their respective Ward centers to participate in the revalidation and fresh registration exercise.
He further directed all Ward Chairmen to ensure the full inclusion of key stakeholders and to keep registration centers open daily to accommodate every interested participant.
Chief Uno emphasized the importance of active participation, describing it as a vital step toward building a stronger, more united, and inclusive APC.
Demonstrating leadership by example, the Executive Chairman personally took part in the revalidation process at the APC Ward 9 Office in Eyulor Oro, reaffirming his commitment to grassroots mobilization and urged Party members to embrace unity and inclusivity in all Party engagements.
In a goodwill message, the Honourable Federal Commissioner representing Akwa Ibom State at the National Population Commission, Engr. (Chief) Benedict Ukpong, alongside the Vice Chairman of Urue Offong/Oruko LGA, Hon. (Mrs) Arit Ambit commended the APC leadership while acknowledging the inclusive leadership style of Governor Umo Eno.
They also praised Chief Uno for his transformative work and purposeful leadership in the local government area.
