Following its inauguration by the Young Progressives Party (YPP) Governorship Candidate, Obong Bassey Albert and subsequent dedication Sunday 25th September 2022, the Urue Offong Oruko Chapter of Akwa Ubok Abasi Campaign Council had its inaugural meeting today 27th September 2022 in Okossi, Urue Offong Oruko LGA.
Moderated by its Council Chairman and Oro Federal Constituency Coordinator, Hon. Elder Okpoyo Etifit, the Council unanimously resolve that working for the success of Obong Bassey Albert (OBA) and AIG Asuquo Amba, in the 2023 gubernatorial election was not negotiable under any condition.
Council members observed that having experienced the philosophy of politics and policy framework of the outgoing administration, it is in the interest of Akwa Ibomites to birth a completely new political order with a fresh ideology to governance and politics. They therefore resolved to work for the victory of all YPP candidates across board.
