The Executive Director, Projects, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Sir Victor Antai KJW, Ph.D, earlier today reaffirmed his unwavering loyalty to the party’s leadership and renewed political direction during the ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) “Home Going Weekend” held at the Mbo Local Government Secretariat, Enwang.

The state-wide event, themed “Together We Win,” runs from Friday, November 21 to Sunday, November 23, 2025, and is part of the APC’s strategy to strengthen grassroots participation, mobilize members, and revitalize its structures across the 31 local government areas of Akwa Ibom State.

Addressing stakeholders, office holders, and party members gathered in Enwang, Sir Victor Antai emphasized that his attendance was a deliberate reaffirmation of his commitment to party cohesion and loyalty.

He stated, “I am here to declare total support for the leadership of the party from the ward executives to the chapter and to the state.”

Sir Antai also aligned himself fully with the broader objectives of the “Home Going Weekend,” which the State Chairman, Obong Stephen Ntukekpo, described as a critical reform initiative aimed at deepening unity and ensuring the party remains firmly rooted at the grassroots.

Going further, Sir Antai used the occasion to publicly declare his strong support for the re-election of leaders whose governance, he noted, has significantly advanced development within Akwa Ibom State and across Nigeria.

He pledged unwavering support for the second-term bid of the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, Ph.D, commending the governor’s leadership approach and developmental achievements. He equally expressed his commitment to the re-election of His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, as well as His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio, GCON, President of the 10th Senate.

The atmosphere in Mbo reflected renewed confidence, as party members applauded Sir Antai’s steadfast dedication to unity, continuity, and the progressive ideals of the APC. The “Home Going Weekend” continues across the state, fostering closer interaction between members and leaders and reinforcing the party’s readiness for upcoming political engagements.

Present at the event were, Wife of the Executive Director, Projects, Adorable Queen Edu Victor Antai, Hon Sunday Odiong, The Executive Chairman of Mbo LGA, Rt Hon Chief Effiong Johnson, Member Representing the Good people of Mbo State Constituency in Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Alice Ekpeyoung, Chief Eyo, Bishop Etim Ante, Dr Emmanuel Ekuwem, Hon Samuel Ufuo, Mr Benedict Ansa, Mbo Chapter Chairman, among others.
