Senator John James Akpanudoedehe has joined the national coalition of opposition forces spearheaded by former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, former Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, former Governors of Rivers and Kaduna States, Rotimi Amaechi and Nasir el-Rufai.

On Monday, Senator Udoedehe resigned his membership of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), a platform he ran the 2023 guber election.

The former Caretaker National Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress was spotted at the coalition’s ongoing meeting at the Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja.

At the meeting, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) is expected to be officially announced as the party adopted by the coalition ahead of 2027 general elections.
