Prince Adewale Adebayo emerges SDP Presidential candidate

Prince Adewole Adebayo has emerged as the SDP presidential candidate for 2023, with 1526 votes, followed by princess Khadijah Okunnu Lamidi with 83 votes.
This happened during the SDP convention after the swearing of the SDP National Working Committee in Abuja.
The Former party Chairman and SDP Governorship aspirant for Ekiti state, Segun Ali, in his keynote address, noted  that this is the Nigeria we have been looking forward to experiencing.
“This is the Nigeria that we all need to come to pass, and we have been waiting for, this is the Nigeria that we all believe would fulfil our hope and aspirations.
This is the country that we would be proud of every time”.
” I believe that the expectations are very high, that the signpost of Nigeria with future begins today and our future begins right here./We would be very simple, we would make it very realistic, off course we would make it productive and democratic”.
“We are going to entertain you today with democracy and knowledge of peace, and at the end, it would be cleared that Nigeria is striving  very serious.”
The highlight of the event was the inauguration of the new National Working Committee of the party.
