…Says Akwa Ibom Is Proud of the Governor’s Accomplishments
The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), Rt. Hon. Ekperikpe Ekpo, has congratulated the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, on his conferment with the Distinguished Award for Excellence in Sustainable Development and Community Empowerment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the Nigerian Excellence Award in Public Service (NEAPS) held on Sunday, December 7, 2025.
In a congratulatory message personally signed and dated December 8, 2025, the Minister described the honour as a well-deserved national recognition of Governor Eno’s visionary leadership and the transformative strides recorded under the ARISE Agenda. He commended the Governor for translating sustainable development policies into measurable progress across the state, including hard-to-reach communities.
Rt. Hon. Ekpo applauded the Eno administration’s achievements in road infrastructure, healthcare delivery, agricultural expansion, education reform, and the empowerment of small-scale enterprises through targeted grants and other support initiatives. According to him, these interventions reflect “a government deeply attuned to the needs of its people and committed to inclusive growth.”
Expressing pride in the Governor’s accomplishments, the Minister joined the Government and people of Akwa Ibom State in celebrating the milestone. He prayed for continued wisdom, strength, and grace for Governor Eno as he drives the state’s development agenda forward.
