The Publicity Secretary of the Odua integrity group, Nurudeen Babajide has described as fallacy and laughable a report, credited to one Tajudeen Babatunde, calling for the sack and investigation of the FCT Permanent Secretary.
“This is due to alleged land allocation,
employment of staff and other issues which are devoid of facts and reality. If there was anyone who engaged in mass employment then it was Sir Ohaa, a former Permanent Secretary.
” The writer described him as the best permanent secretary the FCT ever produced. It is on record that before the reappointment of Musa Muhammed, as FCT Minister in 2019, sir Ohaa allocated lands, employed staff in all FCTA agencies and paid contractors.
So how is it the offence of Adesola who succeeded him?
“We want to call on ICPC and EFCC to ignore the call of these faceless groups sponsored by some principals. It is on record that within the period Dr Adesola served before the appointment of Wike as Minister, FCT worked, as all agencies enjoined cordial relationship with him,
as all their entitlements, allocations and rights were paid and given.
“How then is he corrupt and wrong? We implore President Tinubu to ignore this fallacy and work with the Permanent secretary. There are bad eggs in the system whose intention is to create seeds of discord.
“The FCT traditional rulers, FCTA Directors, DRTS heads, market management staff, FCTA, and other agencies can attest to the dexterity of Dr Adesola within the time he acted.
