The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) is set to organise the United Nations’ World Creativity and Innovation Day/Expo 2022.
The agency disclosed this in a statement signed by Hajia Hadiza, the Head of Corporate Affairs and External relations.
The theme of the program is “Creativity and Innovation: Powering Collaboration for a Sustainable Digital Economy’.
According to the organization, the United Nations (UN) World Creativity and Innovation Day (WCID) is a day dedicated to raising awareness of the role of creativity and innovation in all aspects of human development.
” It is meant to highlight the importance of creativity and innovation for utmost efficiency concerning advancing the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.”
The UN urges its member countries to make cultural and creative industries part of their economic growth strategies. It is for this reason and more that the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), has keyed into this transformative initiation.
