Senator Effiong Bob has charged inmates of the Salvation Army Children Home, Akai – Ubium in Nsit Ubium local government area not to lose because of their present situation saying that God has a purpose for all of them. 
Senator Bob stated this when he visited the Children’s Home as part of his sixtieth birthday celebration today October 1, 2019. He said that the affairs of men are in God’s hands and that the present challenges of men do not truncate the purpose of God for them. The former lawmaker called children at the Home to take their studies seriously and to respect constituted authorities.
He used the opportunity to inform the children that the Home had been in existence for a long while adding that as a student of the Salvation Army Secondary School, Akai-Ubium in the early seventies, inmates of the Home studied in the school and performed excellently and have gone to be responsible men and women. He said that the same could be their lot. 
The children of the Home sang, danced and prayed for Senator Bob to have many happy returns and to continue to prosper and be of assistance to the less privileged in the society. 
Senator Bob presented items to assist in the upkeep of the children. 
Responding, the Matron of the Home thanked Senator Effiong Bob and members of his family for the kind gesture and prayed God to continue to bless him and members of his household. 
Senator Bob was accompanied on the visit by his wife, Comfort, the member representing Nsit Ubium State Constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Hon (Barr) Otobong E. Bob,  Mr. Odudu-Abasi Effiong Bob and a host of political associates and friends.
