The National Coalition for peace and mobilisation ( NACOPEAM NATIONWIDE) has strongly thrown its weight behind the brilliant gesture, and decision of the APC Presidential flag bearer and candidate Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu ( Jagaban Borgu) by choosing the former two term Governor of Borno state Senator Kashim Shettima as his running mate.
This declaration was made by the National President of the coalition, Dr. Ahmad Saleh during a press conference in Abuja.
He emphasised that the credentials of Sen. Shettima as Borno Governor who amid crisis of insurgency achieved results in areas of infrastructural facelift particularly the educational sector and human capacity building.
“At a time Nigeria is hallowing and wallowing with economic woes and depression, only versatile financial experts and accomplished bankers like Shettima are qualified to assist to chart a new course towards economic revamping ,restructuring and trade capacitation. “
‘The combination of Bola Ahmed Tinubu who also geared up IGR in Lagos state during his two term tenure is a perfect match before even the international financial institutions like the IMF, World bank and African development Bank.”he added.
Sen Kashim Shettima is also known to have inspite of the Bokoharam insurgency rebuilt destroyed villages,towns and made arrangements for the return of internally displayed persons to their homes.
