Lagos State speaker condoles with Ajiboso family

The Speaker of Lagos House of Assembly has sent his heartfelt condolences to the Ajiboso family, on the demise of their patriarch, Chief Enoch Kolapomoye Ajiboso.

He is a former Chairman of Agege Local Government Council, and a member of Agege Leadership Forum, who died on Sunday, December 20, 2020.

Obasa said the news of Chief Ajiboso’s death came as a rude shock to him because the deceased showed no sign of ill-health when they met recently.

“We were together last week at a meeting of the Agege Leadership Forum and he was his usual self, joyful and active.

“We take solace in the fact that he lived a noble life, and had a brilliant career as a banker, an experienced public administrator, a community leader and a silent achiever who possessed great moral values.

He said he played a great role as the chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), and its National Treasurer.

“The great job which he performed while he served as a two-term Chairman of Agege Local Government Council, and Commissioner for Agriculture in the state stood him out as a standard bearer of sound principles.”

“His legacies such as the introduction of Eko Meat Vans, Plants Nursery at Temu, Epe and Eko Rice and Oil will forever remain indelible in our memories.”
He would be missed by the Agege Leadership Forum, where he contributed greatly”.
