Dr Yusuf John Suberu a youth activist, Traffic Ambassador and philanthropist has provided pipeborne water to the Iruvochinomi community in Adavi local government area of kogi state.
He provided water through the digging of several water pumps in the community so as to complement the efforts of the government, by alleviating water scarcity often experienced by the people inthe community.
Dr Suberu during the commissioning of the water pumps emphasised that humanity knows no bounds ,and as caring people, the task lies on good spirited wealthy people to always put smile to the faces of the less privileged .
“At least succour has come to the community as many of the residents will no longer suffer in getting pipe borne water. Water is life as it is used for cooking, bathing, drinking and washing as well.
“If we say we must wait for government alone to provide certain amenities, then we are saying that scarcity should persist. Other previleged individuals in the state should also follow suit by making their own valuable contribution in any aspect”, he said.
The community were appreciable of the kind gesture.
Dr Suberu is the FCT Squadron Leader and National Coordinator of the Road traffic and vehicle inspection mayors.
He has been involved in giving in many sectors, hence his gesture to remember the community.
