OPEN LETTER TO HON. FESTUS KEYAMO, SAN, MINISTER OF AVIATION AND AEROSPACE
In recent weeks, the case of Ms. Comfort Emmanson has stirred national concern. Her dignity was gravely violated when she was forcibly removed from an aircraft in a manner that exposed her breasts to the public through social media. This incident brought her not only public humiliation but also detention while awaiting trial — a punishment that, in the view of many, is already more than enough.
It is against this backdrop that I write, in deep appreciation, to Hon. Festus Keyamo, SAN, Minister of Aviation and Aerospace, for his fatherly and humane intervention. His assurance that the case will be dropped and that Comfort will be released has brought immense relief to all who value fairness, justice, and compassion.
Despite the enormous demands on his office, the Honourable Minister took the time to examine the issue with a sense of humanity and an unwavering commitment to justice. His timely action has not only given Comfort renewed hope but has also reassured Nigerians that there are still leaders who will rise to defend human dignity when it matters most.
