In a demonstration of his commitment to human capacity development and community welfare, the Member representing Oron Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Martins Esin, has facilitated a fully funded scholarship and donated a motorized wheelchair to a respected elder in the constituency.

Through his intervention, Dr. John Mkpofor has secured a fully funded scholarship to pursue a Master’s Degree in Public Health at Coventry University, United Kingdom. This opportunity is expected to further build local expertise in the healthcare sector and strengthen contributions to public health advancement in Nigeria.

In addition, Hon. Esin, donated a brand-new motorized wheelchair to Elder Ben Oyombio, a veteran educationist, to support his mobility and improve his quality of life.

Speaking on the gesture, Chairman of Okobo local government Hon. Engr George Henshaw praised Hon. Esin for his consistent efforts to improve education, healthcare, and welfare across the constituency.

Observers note that the lawmaker’s interventions reflect his resolve to not only attract development projects to the constituency but also directly impact lives through education, empowerment, and humanitarian support.
