Monday, July 08, 2019 at Akwa Ibom State Governorship Election Tribunal, the pertioner’s lead counsel, J. S. Okutekpa, SAN, in his application to the Tribunal, sought to tender Certified True Copies (CTC) of EC8B ward collation results for the 28 LGAs. The Tribunal granted the request and
the form EC8B were tendered and admitted in evidence and marked in seriatim as exhibit starting from Abak LGA PTB 10 — Uyo with PTB265 to PTB275.
Showing a total of 275 ward collation results from 28 LGAs as exhibit.
Next for tendering were CTC of the summary result sheets from each of the 28 LGAs which were subsequently admitted in evidence and marked as PTC1 for Abak LGA serially to Uyo with PTC 28 for the 28 LGAs under consideration.

After tendering the last item, the petitioner’s lead counsel thanked the Tribunal for its cooperation, patience and understanding
through out the period of the excercise.
In the same mode, he moved ahead and announced to the Tribunal, his readiness to commence legal fireworks immediately with the presentation of eight witnesses already in the court to testify.
But, the 2nd respondent’s counsel speaking on behalf of all the respondents pleaded that they were not ready and requested for more time to prepare.
Based on their underlying joint supplication, the Tribunal then adjourned to Wednesday, July 10, 2019, with no effect on petitioner’s time frame, but also to enable the Tribunal Registry to conclude the marking of the Exhibit for commencement of hearing properly.
