    Governor Umo Eno Commemorates Worker’s Day with Significant Announcements

    Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, marked the 2024 Workers’ Day Celebration with several important announcements aimed at enhancing the welfare of workers in the State. Key highlights of his declarations include:

    -Designating the 1st and 3rd Fridays of every month as farm days for workers in the State, in line with his Back-to-Farm Initiative.

    – Allocating an additional N2 billion Naira for the payment of gratuities.

    – Presenting brand new vehicles to the NLC and TUC Chairmen.

    – Unveiling plans for the recruitment of medical personnel into the State Civil Service, addressing the demand for quality healthcare services.
