When people talk, I just watch and listen. Many Nigerians still fail to come to reality with happening of events particularly the scripted anti corruption trials.

Yesterday, it was the celebrated trial of former governor of CBN Godwin Emefiele and now fading away. There are allegations of bribery and exchange of kinikan between the handlers of the embattled former Apex bank boss and some corrupt staffs of the economic and financial crime commission who have compromised but misinforming Nigerians.

The latest trial is that of the chairman of the national hajj commission whose case would have been internally handled through administrative means same way it is done in other countries before blowing it hot as if heavens will fall. It has become a known fact that some corrupt staffs of the commission  misled the chairman even though he remains innocent in all the ninety billion naira controversy. It is alleged that a particular big man elected alongside the commander in chief had demanded for some chunk of the federal government ninety billion grant but was turned down which possibly contributed to the present Efcc publicised investigation. Agreed that some properties were seized from Emefiele including some huge currency where is the case going and what else? Our fervent advise to the Efcc is to always conclude cases in time before taking another. One is not in a way castigating the agency but it appears they take more than they can chew. Facts have started emerging on the reality of the Nahcon case as one done out of witch hunting and vendetta. A caterer and also pilgrim in this 2024 hajj exercise Alhaja Kadijat OluwaRotimi also the founder of one of the groups that campaigned for Tinubu in 2023 in one of her releases attested to facts that the ninety billion naira was disbursed lately but still was disbursed and used judiciously to the satisfaction of many pilgrims.

Kadijat is not from the North but from the southwest so you can see what honesty can do. When you don’t fight corruption,it fights you. Possibly the ability of the Nahcon chairman to say no might have caused his travails. Be it as it may,he still stands strong as a reputable personality. Like the late Fuji creator Ayinde barrister usually say in his Fuji garbage album” Eda toban sere laiye Tomo Adama ban sepe fun ise owoe lama sadua fun” Any person that is doing good and others are cursing him or she,it is his or her handwork that rewards him or her. So let us take it from there. The Nigerian society has become one that people hardly censor opinions or publications which made us to be where we are.
