Victory belongs to God and this was manifested and demonstrated by yesterday’s online national election of a new Nigeria bar association President where Barrister Afam Osigwe emerged the new NBA President, this were the words of the director of the fct directorate of road traffic services Dr Abdul Lateef Bello after the NBA elected Barrister Afam Osigwe as new NBA Helmsman.

The FCT DRTS  even though a traffic agency has been working alongside with lawyers particularly on litigation and matters that requires alternative dispute resolution hence our concern on legal representation.

“Every judge was once a lawyer and both the bar and the bench are from same origin and background.

I implore you sir to put in your best to move the NBA forward on issues related to legal defence and representation in courts. The bar anywhere in the world plays crucial roles on human rights, enthronement of human dignity and societal benefits.

“I heartily felicitate with all Nigerian lawyers for yet another smooth election of a new President. The criminal justice administration in Nigeria with all the support and cooperation of the bar and bench could be strengthen for enhance quick dispensation of justice.”
