The FCT Directorate of Road Traffic Services ( DRTS) at the football mini stadium area 10 Abuja awarded a former personal assistant to interior minister who is also a media and security consultant, comrade Salihu Dantata Mahmud in recognition of his commitment and contribution to the upliftment of sports in the DRTS.
Since the inception of the sports unit he has organised several sporting competitions like table tennis and football. The DRTS Director, Dr Abdul Lateef Bello, permanent secretary transportation secretariat, deputy directors of human resource DRTS, operation, finance as well as national coordinator of the RTO/VIO Mayor’s Dr Yusuf John Suberu and other top dignitaries.
Other awardees include the DRTS director, Permanent secretary transport secretariat and others.
Comrade Salihu Dantata Mahmud dedicated the award to fct minister Nyesom Wike and drts director for their media collaboration and outreach.
COPAN Coordinator Hon. Barr Odieli Uchenna also sent heartfelt felicitations to the awardee.
