Chief Edet Isong, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has congratulated all the newly elected Chapter Chairmen of the party in Akwa Ibom State, describing their emergence as a call to greater responsibility, unity, and selfless service to the party.
He urged the Chairmen-elect to always place the interest of the party above personal considerations, stressing that their primary loyalty should be to the leadership and vision of the party, particularly His Excellency, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, and the faithful implementation of his people-centred ARISE Agenda, which he noted remains a clear roadmap for inclusive growth, peace, and sustainable development across the state.
Chief Isong Okete Okete Oro reaffirmed the party’s respect and unwavering support for Godswill Akpabio, GCON, President of the Senate and a proud son of Akwa Ibom State, describing him as a pillar of strength and national leadership within the APC.
He expressed heartfelt appreciation to all APC stakeholders across the state, including Council Chairmen, Members of the State House of Assembly, Members of the House of Representatives, Senators, and party leaders at all levels, for their dedication, sacrifice, and commitment throughout the election process.
Calling for reconciliation and unity, Chief Isong emphasized the need for party members to put aside all bitterness arising from the election season and work collectively for the growth and success of the APC in Akwa Ibom State.
Looking ahead to 2027, he charged party faithful to intensify efforts towards ensuring the re-election of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for a second term, as well as the continued success of Senator Godswill Akpabio, Governor Umo Eno, and all APC candidates for the State House of Assembly, House of Representatives, and the Senate.
Chief Isong concluded by commending Senator Akon Eyakenyi, Deputy Governor of Akwa Ibom State, for her peaceful disposition, experience, and steadfast support to the Governor. He also thanked party supporters for their loyalty and resilience, urging them to remain steadfast and committed to the ideals, leadership, and progressive vision of the APC as the party moves forward.
