ActionAid Nigeria has launched its Country’s Strategy Paper which is targeted to reduce poverty and inequality, and also drive positive change in the country. The Chair ActionAid Nigeria Board of Directors, Dr. Jummai Umar Ajijola stated this in her remarks at the launch of the Country’s Strategy Paper in Abuja. The Nigerian Union of Journalists, NUJ, has called for investigation into the attack on journalists covering the protest, which has resulted to at least 21 injured media professionals.
