VOTERS REGISTRATION: CHIEF ISONG CALLS FOR MASSIVE PARTICIPATION

An APC chieftain and National President , ONWI ONU NSIMA EKERE, Chief Edet Isong called for massive mobilization of party faithfuls to take due advantage of the ongoing Voters registration. Chief Isong made the declaration during the monthly general meeting of the group held yesterday Sunday, February 18, 2018 in his private residence, Oron, AKS.

While addressing participants, Chief Isong expresses joy over the continuous support he has been enjoying from stakeholders and other party chieftains who attended the meeting. He also solicited for more commitment and sacrifice by the elders, saying that it would help the group to maintain an indomitable structure and also build up Strategies to secure unprecedented Victory for president Muhammadu Buhari, HE Obong Nsima #Ekere and the entire All Progressive Congress’s Family come 2019 general Elections.

The Director General of (ONWI ONU NSIMA EKERE) Prince John Anwana Ikott while addressing the gathering took time to hilight various life touching projects in Oron Nation awarded, executed and Commissioned by NDDC. According to Mr. Ikott, Oro as a unit of AKS has felt the impact of NDDC like never in the past. Due to this obvious reason, he implored members of the group to join hands with National President , Chief Isong and the entire APC stakeholders to deliver Oro hundred percent for Obong Nsima Ekere to emerge as AKS Governor come 2019, believing that Oro as a people will withness tremendous development if the dream comes to reality.

Speaking also in the gathering was the former Chairman,Oron LGA, Chief Engr. K. U. Efretuei who declared openly that he is out with an avowed intent to deliver his Constituency in the forthcoming General Elections. Chief Efretuei uses the floor to appeal to other APC Governorship Aspirants to Stand down their intentions, saying that Obong Nsima Ekere is the only person who has the capability and capacity to marsh unseat and wipe off the already defeated PDP enclaves come 2019.

Another factor who made Waves in meeting is Hon. Emmanuel Inwang. He applauded the consistent commitment and sacrifice showcased by the Chief Edet Isong towards the 2019 project while appealing to stakeholders and the entire members of ONWI ONU NSIMA EKERE, to continue to rally round him with the spirit of team – work to pave ways for Oro to conveniently deliver APC come 2019 while stressing for avoidance of betray and cheap blackmail within the group.

Speaking on behalf of Women was Elder (Mrs) Roselin Enyang who expresses the need for Women to take full advantage of the ongoing Voters registration to enable them exercise their franchise in the 2019 Elections. According her, Women always contribute over 40 percent of vote cast during election period, hence APC as a party will not succeed if Women are ably represented.

Another grassroot mobilizer who also dilivered his sermon is Hon. Iniobong Edmond, APC Chairmanship Candidate for Udung Uko LGA in the 2017 LG Elections. Hon. Edmond, while speaking the mind of his contemporaries stresses the need for the group to organize a mass rally with a view of spreading its tentacles and also step up momentum for the complete take-over of Oro for APC come 2019. In the same spirit Hon. Victor Onomo speaking on behalf of Councillorship candidates threw more weight behind Hon. Edmond’s message.
