Cross over service- Defaulters violating NCDC guidelines will face the wrath of the law

The Federal Capital Territory Administration, FCTA, disclosed that any worship centre found contravening the COVID-19 protocol will be made to face the wrath of the law.
The Head Media and Public Enlightenment of FCT COVID-19 Task Force Team, Ikharo Attah made the disclosure while speaking to Journalists.
He called on church leaders and security personnel to ensure that Abuja residents adhere to COVID-19 protocols during the cross over service.
“The Task Force team is working in Collaboration with leaders of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) at all levels and league of Imams.
We had conversation with religious leaders on the need to sensitize their members to adhere strictly to COVID-19 guidelines.
The combined team of the FCT Task Force Team will be moving round the city centre to ensure compliance. Members should put on their face mask, provide washing hand basin as well as keep physical distancing”.
In the same vein,he added that some other members can join the services through online portal.
“All the worship centres hall should not be overcrowded. Any religious home that flout the COVID-19 guideline protocol will be shut down.”
