Concerned South South, Northern Group, set to honour Former Zamfara Governor Yari

In recognition of the bridge-building posture of former Zamfara State Governor, his excellency Abdul Aziz Yari, the Concerned South-South and Northern professionals alliance for good governance is set to visit the former governor and especially honour him with a patriotic plaque in recognition of his exemplary leadership skills as a former reps member, Governor and Senator.
The program coordinator of the group hon. High chief Uyoyou Edhekpo stated this in a press release made available in Abuja.
The group stated categorically that his excellency Yari is a politician and statesman to reckon with when it comes to uniting the south and the north going by many links he has been able to establish with other parts of the country.
“We have been watching his positive antecedents geared towards promoting peace, unity and oneness hence the necessity of honour and recognition. At an approved date by his protocol team, we are going to visit him to honour him as a patriot.”
“There exists a distinguished class of dignitaries in all facets of life, it is not all that possess credibility and honour like H E AbdulAziz Yari.
He is accessible, humanitarian and patriotic.”
“Since he left as governor, the state_Yari’s record of leadership is such that deserved to be emulated and eulogized. Women, children and even destitute have felt his hospitality through sharing the little he has.”
Evidence could be seen from his Abuja home in Maitama which is always like Mecca when he is around. When other top politicians shut their doors and gate, Yari always calls for people because he is a man of the people and that is why his profile has been going higher and higher.
