The Deputy Provost of the Fct Directorate of Road Traffic Services DRTS Mr Rindam Nanjul has been described as a diligent officer by the Arewa youths for peace and security.
In a special congratulatory letter signed by Salihu Dantata Mahmud, the group’s image-maker, he emphasized that Mr Nanjul has maintained the attitude of an officer that is disposed of to the stipulated norms of the directorate that has to do with zero tolerance for corruption.
“The DRTS as an institution relies on the policing techniques of the provost unit which includes ensuring adherence to regimented, administrative procedures,
guiding against the issuance of fake vehicle particulars, excesses of officers against clients, obtaining money under false pretence and general security of the directorate.”
The chief provost Dani Ibrahim who decorated the deputy provost implored him to do more to move the directorate forward.
The group assured Mr Nanjul of their support in the area of collaboration on discipline.
The group task the officers and men to emulate some of the outstanding qualities of the deputy provest, which has strengthened the institution on discipline.
The DRTS provost is highly respected amongst the FCT uniform establishment for efficiency.
Born on the 25 of July 1976 to the family of Retired Brigadier General Yakubu Rindam in Ikeja Lagos.
He joined the services of DRTS in 2007 as an intermediate officer and rose the ranks to become Assistant Chief VIO equivalent to Assistant Commissioner of Police.
